Why is it that...

When you spend hours cleaning up in your house, so it looks presentable, and you know that any unexpected visitors dropping by won't think they should call DHS on you (okay, so maybe it wasn't THAT bad), that's when your children, the cats and the hubby all decide they are wild animals?

I spent two hours cleaning in my bedroom, folding laundry, putting it away, changing the sheets, sweeping, mopping, etc etc etc. And can you tell it now? Um........NOPE. there's crap all over again.

Same with the living room and kitchen.

Why do I bother??

cleaning your house while raising children (and husbands for that matter) is like trying to nail jello to a tree.

I so understand! I hate cleaning so when I do it I want it to stay for more than 10 minutes so I can enjoy it. But never happens!

I completely know that feeling. It is so frustrating.

That's why I HATE cleaning -- it doesn't matter how much time and I energy I invest, my husband and daughter carelessly will trash it in a matter of minutes. It never seems to end!

I hear ya sista!

The other day I had a crying fit because I spent literally ALL day cleaning and after going back into the kids rooms you'd think I'd never touched it..

They are in school now... so my house has actually been staying clean. Hmm.. never thought that could happen.
